7.0-magnitude quake hits New Guinea, Papua New Guinea: USGS

HONG KONG, April 3 (Xinhua) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 jolted New Guinea, Papua New Guinea, at 18:04:10 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 62.603 km, was initially determined to be at 4.2924 degrees south latitude and 143.155 degrees east longitude.
