Over 2,000 students walk 54 kilometers to pay tribute to revolutionary heroes in Northwest China

More than 2,000 students from a middle school in Guyuan, China\’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region walked for more than 50 kilometers to pay tribute to revolutionary heroes before the Qingming Festival, also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day, a tradition that has lasted 28 years. They set off at four early in the morning and completed a 54-kilometer walk, demonstrating their determination and perseverance to pay high tribute to the heroes\’ towering achievements. The students also laid wreaths and swept the tombs.
